In the realm of landscaping and estate maintenance, North Lanarkshire Council has launched a £5.74m, 36-month contract to provide a Garden Assistance Scheme and Ad-Hoc Garden Works Service. This initiative, covering multiple regions across North Lanarkshire, aims to assist elderly and infirm residents by maintaining gardens, performing grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, and general landscaping. This project encompasses temperature monitoring, bacterial sampling, and preventative maintenance to meet ACoP L8 regulations, reducing the risk of Legionella bacteria in residential properties.
