Atrium Homes-

Despite a spike in reactive repair costs, 113 homes and 40 properties will benefit from crucial upgrades, ensuring warmer, more energy-efficient living spaces. However, delays in Net Zero guidance create uncertainty for future sustainability efforts. Atrium remains committed to quality housing and lower energy bills for its residents.
Partick Housing Association-
Big changes are coming for Partick Housing Association residents. A £1.81m window replacement programme will modernise homes, while new contracts for fire safety, asbestos management, and water safety ensure top-tier protection. Magnus Electrical is set to handle electrical inspections, and City Building (Contracts) will keep lifts running smoothly. With these upgrades, PHA is doubling down on safety, comfort, and efficiency, delivering healthier, more resilient homes for the future.
Adur & Worthing Councils-
Councils have allocated £5m for Phase 1 Whole Block repairs across ten Adur Homes properties. A Principal Contractor will oversee site investigations, subcontracting, and resident engagement to ensure smooth delivery. Additional building condition surveys may uncover further urgent repairs, shaping future maintenance plans.
Brent Council-
Council is set to upgrade primary schools, approving contractor procurement via the LHC Framework for essential roofing, drainage, and window replacements at Anson, Newfield, Roe Green, and Mora Primary Schools. Meanwhile, a £1.25m investment will bring up to 2,723 EV charging points across Brent and five London boroughs. Hammersmith & Fulham will lead procurement, while Brent oversees contracts, driving cleaner air and a future-ready transport network.
Camden Council-
Council is enhancing roof safety across its housing estates with a £4.8m contract for inspections, repairs, and renewals. Running for three years, with an option to extend for two more, the project ensures safer, well-maintained homes for residents. Procured through a Competitive Flexible Procedure, it aligns with the council’s commitment to community safety and housing quality. Overseen by Supporting Communities leadership, this initiative reinforces Camden’s dedication to secure, high-standard council housing.
Dundee Council-
Council has secured £1.8m to source essential construction materials for housing and infrastructure, extending Scotland Excel Framework contracts until May 2025. A new two-year contract will follow to ensure cost-effective procurement. Additionally, the council approved a £1.5m roof replacement programme for 2024/25, with £1.395m for direct works and £105,000 for allowances. Led by Construction Services, the project will enhance structural integrity, ensuring safer, more durable housing for residents across the city.
Harrow Council-
Council is launching a huge housing improvement drive, approving estate upgrades and major capital works across several locations, including Howards, Deacons Close, Pinner Grove, and Stuart Avenue. A borough-wide fire door upgrade is also in the pipeline, ensuring safer, more resilient homes. Competitive tenders will be issued to secure high-quality, cost-effective solutions, reinforcing the council’s commitment to better housing and community well-being.

Big changes are coming to Will Thorne Pavilion as Newham Council signs off on a £1.035m refurbishment contract with MP Building Ltd. Swansea City and County-
Swansea Council is ensuring homes stay safe and well-maintained with a major reactive maintenance framework. Contracts for carpentry, plastering, roofing, and external works have been awarded to eight contractors, securing vital repairs across the city. Running from March 2025 to January 2027, with a 12-month extension option, this investment guarantees high-quality housing maintenance for years to come.
Waltham Forest Council-
A greener future is on the way as Waltham Forest teams up with Newham and Redbridge to roll out 250 standard EV chargers under the LEVI Capital Fund.
