A site visit to Davislea is also in the pipeline, keeping quality firmly on the agenda.

Basildon’s public spaces are getting a glow-up. A £44,975 contract has been awarded to H&B Groundwork Contractors Ltd to handle town centre lighting removal and partial installation. W&H Romac will finish the job, all under the council’s Regeneration Capital Programme.

Camden isn’t waiting around on safety, £2.5m has been earmarked for urgent EICR remedial works across 2,000 homes. PFL Electrical Ltd is on board to deliver the 14-month programme, making sure homes meet BS7671 standards and fire safety is tight ahead of a contractor switch in 2026.
Central Bedfordshire Council-
Electrical safety is front and centre in Central Bedfordshire. The council extended its contract with DHE Group until December 2025, bumping the value to £1m. New procurement plans are already underway to keep the momentum going and housing stock fully compliant.
